Kevin Spacey investigated by United Kingdom police over second sexual assault allegation

London's Metropolitan Police are understood to have launched an investigation into Kevin Spacey over a second alleged sexual assault during his time as artistic director of the Old Vic Theatre.

The allegation was made just a day after the Old Vic released results of its own internal investigation into the matter.

Spacey has been accused of attempting to rape a 15-year-old boy in NY and of making advances on actor Anthony Rapp when he was 14 years old, 31 years ago.

The new allegation was made last week, shortly after London's Old Vic theater said it had received 20 complaints of inappropriate behavior by former artistic director Spacey after it appealed to people to come forward with concerns and complaints.

The force is already investigating a claim of of sexual assault made against Spacey which allegedly took place in the same area in 2008.

It opened the investigation following a stream of allegations against the actor, including testimony from Mexican actor Rob Cavazos, who worked with Spacey at the Old Vic. The first, submitted by Victim 1 earlier this month, was dated in 2008.

United Kingdom police are investigating new accusations of sexual harassment made against Kevin Spacey.

"The allegations are of sexual assaults against a man, victim two, in 2005 in Lambeth".

The scandal surrounding the actor began after claims were made by actor Anthony Rapp on October 30 that Mr.

Police would not confirm the identity of the alleged assailant, who was named as Spacey by the Press Association.

The name of the accuser is presently unknown - he is identified only as Victim 2.
