She said the 6-foot-1, 320 lb. After a brief struggle, however, she was able to get to her phone and call the police.
Nicole Miller told police she was grabbed by the hair and pushed around. One witness, according to the report, said the couple's bedroom door was slammed shut and she heard "thumping coming from inside the room as if someone was being hit".

Per the news story from NBC affiliate WTLV, Miller was charged and will appear before a judge on Saturday, so more details will be forthcoming. The judge ordered Miller's release, but said if there is any violence toward his wife, then his release will be rescinded.
Miller, 30, is being investigated for domestic battery by the state attorney's office in Florida.
No one from the Chiefs or the National Football League has issued any sort of a statement, since it's simply too early to tell what the ramifications will be, but this is the sort of incident that certainly puts his ability to play in jeopardy, including whether or not Miller will be with the team going forward. Details have yet to unfold here, but these types of situations typically result in a suspension of some kind and for any sort of fringe player, it can usually equal an outright release from the team. He signed with the Chiefs Aug. 2. They declined any further comment.
