Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston facing 'at least two weeks' out

Winston gave a weird pregame speech, then left the game with the shoulder injury, then instigated a fight with New Orleans' Marshon Lattimore.

As quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick gets ready to make his first start as a Buccaneer. On Sunday, Winston had passed for 67 yards in the first half before the halftime decision was made to sit him for the remainder of the game.

Winston initially sustained an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder in a 38-33 loss at the Arizona Cardinals on October 15.

Starting left tackle Donovan Smith also left the game with a knee injury.

On Sunday, Winston completed 7-of-13 for 63 yards with no touchdowns or no interceptions.

Before this week, Winston had only thrown one day a week because of the injury.

In three appearances this season, Fitzpatrick has completed 30-of-48 (62.5 percent) passes for 358 yards with 4 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Still, Koetter felt he had to rest his franchise QB until the joint healed better with more rest.

Winston injured the shoulder in Arizona on October 15th.

The Buccaneers will activate QB Ryan Griffin from injured reserve, and he'll back up Fitzpatrick until Winston is cleared for activity.
