Apple released tvOS 11.1 on Tuesday. One resolves an issue that caused settings for Heart Rate notifications to appear in the Apple Watch app for first generation Apple Watches, and another fixes a problem that prevents app icons from appearing in notifications on the Apple Watch.

Then, go to General Software Update.

Once iOS 11.1 is shown as an available update, tap "Download & Install" and follow the on-screen instructions. But, the update might not sit well with everyone, especially those with older devices like the iPhone 5s or the iPhone 6.

As always with interim updates like this, we encourage some level of caution when updating.
