Five children were among the injured, the youngest being five-year-old Zobia Kousar who was airlifted to a hospital in Jammu in a helicopter.
Among those killed were a 10-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl.
An Army vehicle was also damaged in the aggression by Pakistani troops.

Three of the injured are said to be in a critical condition, according to reports.
Police officials said Pakistani troops targeted dozens of villages and posts with automatic gunfire and mortar shells in the Shahpur, Kirni and Qasba sectors in Poonch, starting early Monday morning.
