As it stands, Nigeria alongside Spain, Germany, England, Brazil, Iran, Japan, Mexico, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and hosts Russian Federation are guaranteed to be at the FIFA World Cup finals next summer. They will play Algeria in a meaningless match in the last round next month.

Super Eagles' captain Mikel John Obi has declared the players have no need to say too much before Saturday's 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Zambia's Chipolopolo.

The win means the Eagles have qualified for the World Cup even with a round of games remaining in Group B. He believes that despite the fine form of the three times African champions, Zambia can pull the plug off the feet of the home side.

Mikel rated highly the Zambian team they battled against today in Uyo. How can the Eagles be in this position and Zambia will come here and pick a draw? The team have learnt their lessons against South Africa (in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, which Nigeria lost 2-0) and they have corrected their mistakes.

"The training session was a great one and presently, the mood in camp is good; everybody is in high spirit going into the Zambia match because we all know the importance of the game".

"The Super Eagles are in very positive mood for the game against Zambia on Saturday, " Yusuf said.

Rohr has already hinted the FC Ifeanyiubah shot stopper should keep his place particularly after he was voted the best goalkeeper at the recent WAFU Cup in Ghana.
