Anthony Martial still faces return to Manchester United bench

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that the Red Devils do not miss injured French superstar Paul Pogba.

"But it's not just me or us".

"Maybe two years ago if Paul Pogba was part of the Man United team and he got injured, you'd go, 'Oh no, who is going to replace him?', because the squad wasn't really that strong".

United manager Mourinho had previously refused to comment on those reports and claimed he had not even asked for an update about Pogba's status.

The £90m summer signing made it 10 goals in his first nine United games with a brace in Wednesday's 4-1 victory at CSKA Moscow in the Champions League and is set to start again today.

"We have to play against everybody home and away and when I look at the fixtures I only look to the period of time we have to recover from match to match", said Mourinho. "It's an opportunity for others, is a moment for others to step up and to get the chance, so I think that's good".

Man Utd easily hurdled what could have been a tricky obstacle on Wednesday evening as they hammered CSKA Moscow 4-1 in Russian Federation. This said, they are yet to face any of the five teams who finishes above them in the table last season.

And Keane believes the £75million it took to land him from Everton was an absolute bargain, and has tipped the 24-year-old to continue his rise to superstardom with the Red Devils.

The United boss also confirmed that Lukaku isn't going to receive any respite over the worldwide break.

Palace, meanwhile, are trying to avoid extending their own unwanted record of failing to score in each of their opening six matches but they were unlucky not to find the net in their last outing at Manchester City. Let us know in the comments section below.
