National Coffee Day 2017: Here's where to get free or discounted coffee

It's marketers' beloved annual National Coffee Day, one of the few made-up food holidays you can exploit because the thing being "celebrated" is cheap enough to give away for free.

Krispy Kreme chose to go for a National Coffee Weekend instead, and offers each customer one free coffee of any size for three days in a row.

Dunkin Donuts: Get a FREE Medium hot coffee when you purchase a Medium or Larger hot coffee.

The company will offer customers free coffee of any size all day at each of Wawa's more than 760 locations Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia and Florida. Visit the website ( keurig.com ) and enter the code "CELEBRATE", at checkout.

Birch Coffee is letting customers "pay what you please" for coffee at their location on Houston Street from 11 a.m.to 1 p.m. If you've got the storage space on your phone, show an employee at any location of Num Pang Kitchen that you've downloaded their mobile rewards app and they'll reward you with a free Cambodian Iced Coffee. "We truly appreciate Don Francisco's Coffee for all they are doing to provide this much-needed relief".
