Motorola officially confirm Moto G4 Plus will get Android Oreo update

Motorola launched its Moto X4 smartphone at IFA 2017 and is now ready to bring the device in India.

With Camera's you get a dual setup having 12 MP, f/2.0 aperture & 1.12-micron pixel size main lens and a second wide angle lens of 8 MP sensor having a f/2.2 aperture. The company also clarified that the Moto G family will only receive one major update. In the Indian smartphone market, the Moto X4 will likely to be priced somewhere in between the Rs. 26,000 and Rs. 28,000. Launched on Marshmallow just 16 months or so back, and upgraded to Nougat surprisingly quickly, the two very successful mid-rangers were notably absent from the OEM's list of Oreo-eligible devices issued last week. While the name of the smartphone has not been officially confirmed, it is nearly certainly set to be the Moto X4. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 508 image processing unit to handle the graphics content.

The Moto X4 features a 5.2-inch Full HD display (1080x1920) with Gorilla Glass protection and IP68 water and dust resistance rating. Coming to RAM & Storage, the phone comes with 3GB RAM and there is 32GB internal storage in the phone which can be expanded by means of MicroSD card.

For the selfie camera, the Moto X4 uses a 16MP selfie camera with a selfie flash, f/2.0 aperture and features such as selfie panorama, Face Filters to add animations to the selfies, and adaptive low light mode. The dual cameras also come with dual LED flash, PDAF, and other features.

By far the most infuriating thing is Moto G4 Plus buyers were promised both N and O jumps from day one, and now all such guarantees are gone from promotional material around the world. The smartphone supports Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack and Global Positioning System. In fact, Motorola had a reputation of always keeping all of its smartphones up to date. The company claims that the battery is able to deliver up to 24 hours of battery life on a single charge.

It would slightly be on the thicker side with 8 MM and a combined weight of 163 grams.
