Man arrested after rapper shot outside Hollywood hotel

Young Dolph is in hospital after being targeted in a second shooting in less than a year. The incident occurred outside the Loews Hollywood Hotel, when Dolph got into an altercation with three men. While details are sketchy, shots were fired outside the hotel and Dolph was hit multiple times.

According to the Associated Press, the police are investigating whether shooting was the result of a rivalry with Dolph and another Hip-Hop artist. Yo Gotti was likely tabbed as part of the investigation due to his longstanding beef with Young Dolph. After he was shot, Dolph stumbled into a nearby shoe store where police were called.

Another Memphis rapper, Yo Gotti, has been named a person of interest in the case.

At this time, no arrests have been made and it's unclear how many people may have opened fire. Local media reported he is in critical condition. There were no reports about how many times he was shot. One person had been detained after the shooting and police were still looking for at least two other suspects Tuesday night, authorities said.

In February of this year, Dolph was shot at in Charlotte while sitting in his SUV that turned out to be bullet proof.

Blac Youngsta, a rapper signed to Yo Gotti's label who has had his own feud with Dolph, was charged along with two others, and is now released on bail.
