Leaks Reveal Google Home Mini Speaker, New Daydream VR Headset

First up: the HTC-made Pixel 2.

The Pixel 2 will arrive in Kinda Blue, Just Black, and Clearly White. That means a 64GB option for $649, and a 128GB option for $749 - $200 less than the reported Pixel 2 XL pricing. This leaked photo is in line with an earlier leaked image of a Pixel 2 XL render from this summer.

With the iPhone X and iPhone 8's impending release, Google is not showing any signs of backing down from the competition, as it unveiled it new Google Pixel 2 android phone. This could be particularly useful for home automation as you could give the Assistant one command i order to, say, turn your lights off and change your thermostat all at once. This year, Google it seems is listening to a customer pain point and giving consumers more storage this time around for the same $650 starting cost. Overall, the design of the smartphone adheres very closely to what we saw with the Pixel and Pixel XL. The tech site also was able to obtain an image of a new Daydream VR headset, which is supposed to retail for $99.

Similar to the Amazon Echo Dot, Google Home Mini will be a smaller version of the company's Home smart speaker.

While Google is reportedly set to announce the new Home Mini on October 4, when the device will become available is unknown. As you can see, the device will be launched in three colors: Chalk, Charcoal, and Coral.

Alongside the Google Pixel 2 this October 4th, it's been tipped that a Google Home Mini will appear. The hand-friendly controller is also making a return and will most likely reside in an interior compartment found along the front flap.
