Even though Destiny 2 just launched a couple of days ago on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, there has already been a ton of speculation about the first DLC. As such, that means rebuilding the "ties between the legendary Warlock and his greatest student - Ikora Rey".

Destiny 2 is available now for the PS4 and Xbox One. The area of Mercury players will explore will be the Infinite Forest. A Destiny 2 tribute greeted returning Destiny players, reminding them of their accomplishments in the first game in the series. The expansion will feature a new playable region known as the "Infinite Forest" on Mercury, which makes this the first time that players will actually be able to explore Mercury in the Destiny universe.
That report included the Curse of Osiris name and mentioned that the add-on will also open up the Lighthouse to all Destiny 2 players as a new social space in the game. Both add-ons are part of Destiny 2's expansion pass. "It's real!" and while knowing that we're going to Mercury is an awesome feeling, we still don't have a release date. A confirmation from Bungie still need to be made, probably in a couple of weeks after the Raid and Trial of Osiris are online. Bungie marketing director Eric Osborne confirmed as much on Twitter after the listing went live. Though that's unlikely to be the focus of Curse of Osiris, it's perhaps entwined in the story.
