Asus has officially launched its ZenFone 4 series in India, starting out with the ZenFone 4 Selfie and ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro. The phone features a soft LED for selfie camera. Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro will cost Rs 23,999. Flipkart has announced exchange and buyback offers on the Zenfone Selfie series.
The ZenFone 4 Selfie features a rear, high-resolution 13MP camera with fast phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) and LED flash, for capturing every precious moment with vivid clarity and stunning detail, and features EIS for videos. They run Android 7.0 Nougat based Zen UI, which as per Asus is a completely revamped version of the previous Zen UI iterations with less bloatware. The company, in addition, launched a new variant of the ZenFone 4 Selfie, aka the ZenFone 4 Selfie standard or basic edition.
As per the first alternative of this same model, this model is also focused on selfies and bears with dual selfies cameras. The leading smartphone camera has f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The rear camera is 16MP with 80-degree field of view and LED real tone flash.
The Dual Selfie Pro flagship smartphone sports a combination of 24 megapixel Sony IMX 362 sensor camera with a 120 degree wide angle to deserve the namesake.
The Zenfone 4 Selfie comes equipped with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display along with a 2.5D curved glass.
Both the phones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, which also powers some competing phones including the Nokia 6, LG Q6, and the Yu Yureka Black among others. Powering the device is a 3,000mAh battery. The Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro and the ZenFone 4 Selfie both house batteries with 3000mAh capacity but minutely vary in measurements and weight.
As the name itself suggests that the Zenfone 4 Selfie is made for selfies oriented audiences in India.
