Kathy Griffin has always been known as a fiery redhead.

As per a report from People, series of photos from Griffin has started to surface online, and it had left her followers in awe when she flaunted her shaved head.

Shaved off her hair, don't care. This time the reality TV star has traded in her caustic brand for a deeply compassionate, moving act of solidarity with her sister's cancer battle.

The 56-year-old stars sister is now undergoing chemotherapy, reported People magazine. Meanwhile, it was also reported that Garry Griffin, her brother, has also passed away as he fought against his stage 4 esophageal cancer.

Writer Yashar Ali‏ posted the photos earlier today on Twitter, including one of Kathy with her mother, Mary Margaret "Maggie" Griffin.

Ever since coming under intense fire after posing for a picture holding a mockup of a severed and bloodied head resembling Donald Trump, Griffin has been keeping a low profile.

"This AM my fearless brother Gary Griffin passed away in palliative care after a brutal struggle w cancer", Griffin wrote in an Instagram post, at the time. On Friday, she tweeted that she's "no longer under federal investigation" and that she has been "completely exonerated".

"Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself".

Griffin subsequently apologized for the tweet, saying she "was wrong" and "went too far" with the imagery, which she said stemmed from Trump's previous jabs involving blood aimed at journalist Megyn Kelly.

And if you need a good laugh (who doesn't, these days?), we highly suggest you follow Kathy's mama Maggie, whose Insta handle pretty much sums up why we're in love with her.
