Aston joins Simon Rimmer, Joe McFadden, Reverend Richard Coles, Gemma Atkinson, Ruth Langsford, Davood Ghadami and Mollie King who have also been confirmed for the new series. The singer revealed that he wants to win the dancing crown this year.
He said: "I'm so happy to be joining "Strictly Come Dancing" 2017".
Aston is best known for being part of British boy band JLS. Other rumoured contestants to participate in this year's contest include comedian Brian Conley, singer Matt Goss, and Dame Joan Collins.
There's also X Factor victor Alexandra Burke, Paralympian Ellie Simmonds, Robot Wars host Angela Scanlon, Bros singer Matt Goss, comic Joel Dommett and marathon runner Paula Radcliffe.
That's fighting talk if ever we heard it, so fingers crossed Alexandra is one of the names announced in the next week.
Strictly Come Dancing will start on BBC One in September.
