The latest Strictly announcement comes after Gemma Atkinson was confirmed as the fourth celebrity to be taking part in the latest series of the dancing show on BBC Breakfast yesterday.
These days the countdown to Christmas doesn't start with early decorations in shops, flawless present suggestions in September or cheeky July advertisements: it starts when the Christmas entertainment shows begin and this includes BBC favourite Strictly Come Dancing.
She said: "I have dreamt about doing Strictly for so long, I can't quite believe my dream has come true! Sorry for lying!" she laughed. "Put me in a gym with a load of lads and dumbbells I'm fine, put me on a dance floor in a frock and it's way out of my comfort zone, so I've got to do it".
"Without doubt it will be the scariest yet most exciting thing I've ever done".More news: Packers open preseason against Eagles

"I am more likely to fit in a show like Gladiators, but that's why I wanted to do it, it's a challenge", she explained.
Gemma, 32, told listeners to her Key 103 radio show: 'I did disco dancing when I was ten, but that was high kicks and cartwheels'. The sum of my dance experience is throwing a few shapes at a party, I've never had a dance lesson in my life.
Fitness fanatic Gemma has appeared in popular soaps including Hollyoaks and Emmerdale and admits she hasn't had any formal dance training and is hoping for a partner who is tall to match her 5ft 9in height.
