The third season of For Honor, Ubisoft's huge-dudes-with-sharp-objects simulator, now has two things: An appropriately gritted-teeth title, "Grudge and Glory", and a launch date of August 15. All players will have access to the new maps and other features free of charge on August 15 with the exception of the two new heroes. According to Gamespot, all of this free content will be made available to Season Pass holders beginning August 15, while those who do not have the Season Pass will get their hands on the new content a week later on August 22. The upcoming season 3 content is coming on August 15th.
"Highlander - Stoic and guarded, Highlanders are patient heroes capable of switching between two different fighting forms". The Highlander has a defensive form that specializes in counter attacks and an offensive form that disables the block ability in favour of massive attacks with the claymore sword.
The Gladiator is styled after the Roman retiarius and wields a trident, but trades the traditional dagger and weighted net for a shield. Equipped with little armour, they can punch their opponents to create separation to set up attacks and stuns. They also have a larger stamina meter than other classes and a reduced cooldown time, making them "extremely agile and risky opponents". Both maps have deadly environmental hazards that will force players to be extra cautious while traversing the map. There'll be a whole new legendary gear rarity, too, and the reputation cap for Heroes will be raised to 40, giving players more customization options. Ranked matches and competitive play are also being added with Season 3 through a new 1v1 duel tournament mode.
"Competing in tournaments will allow players to vie for higher rankings, which will reset each season, and win exclusive tournament rewards", Ubisoft detailed in a press release sent to GamesBeat.More news: HighTower Advisors LLC Boosts Position in BP plc (BP)
