Marvel fans have always wondered what odd would be doing in Thor: Ragnarok and now they have an answer. In that scene, Thor is wearing the exact same clothes as seen in the Thor: Ragnarok trailer, possibly indicating that not much time has passed between Doctor Strange and the forthcoming flick.
Thanks to the mid-credits scene for Doctor Strange, we've known for nearly a year that Benedict Cumberbatch's sorcerer supreme would be showing up in Thor: Ragnarok, though it doesn't look like he'll be making the trip to Asgard to join Team Thor and stop their apocalypse. "Destiny has dire plans for you, my friend", odd tells the God of Thunder in the trailer, to which Thor responds, "I have dire plans for destiny". Thor then appeared in the post-credits scene for Doctor Strange when it released in November. But just because we already know an very bad lot about the movie doesn't mean that there isn't more to learn. My guess is he doesn't play a major role in the film.
"Thor, I sense a great change in your future", odd said.More news: Try Prey before you buy with free trial

Here are a few reasons odd may already be teasing the events of Avengers: Infinity War.
There is no reason to believe unusual would travel to a futuristic Asgard and discover Hela's destructive arrival on Thor's homeland, only to travel back in time and to Earth where he will warn the God of Thunder.
In Japan, Thor: Ragnarok is known as Thor: Battle Royale, which is literally the most accurate and well-suited title this movie could have.
