Britney Spears halts concert as man storms stage

"Scary footage captured during her Piece of Me show in Sin City on August 9 shows the star finishing up performing her hit "(You Drive Me) Crazy" before 2 security guards rush on stage.

Britney Spears' recent gig in Las Vegas saw a man tackled by security amid fears that the individual might have a gun.

She was ushered backstage and the man was handcuffed and escorted out.

Security detained the fan as Britney was initially unaware of the incident, with TMZ reporting that her knees "buckled" as she asked one of her guards 'He's got a gun?' She may have been startled, but Spears didn't let one guy ruin her show for the rest of her fans.

Police identified the suspect as 37-year-old Jesse Webb. Britney Spears has not released a statement about the incident, and her representatives have been contacted.

"Webb was asked to leave the concert by security prior to him jumping on stage and dancing", officer Larry Hadfield said. A member of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has released a statement and claimed that Jesse was brought to the Clark County Detention Center. In fact, when Britney Spears finished to interpret his very famous tube insane, an individual is simply mounted on the stage of the casino without being invited in the least.

Jesse Webb is now in police custody, and no further information about the case has been released.
