The Rapid Monte Carlo Edition will be offered in a red exterior paint with contrasting black details including a black grille and bumper vents, ORVMs, window trim, roof, lip spoiler and rear diffuser.

Skoda is also relaunching Skoda Octavia RS in India that will be priced at 20 lakhs. The 7-seater Skoda Kodiaq SUV will take on the market leaders in the segment including Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner and even the Volkswagen Tiguan.
The Monte Carlo Edition will be mechanically identical to the standard Rapid, which is offered with a 1.6-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. While Skoda was expected to reveal more about the India-spec new Skoda Kodiaq including more features and price range, but the Czech Multinational only unveiled that the SUV will officially hit the commercial automobile market of India in the coming festive season. On the interior front, the Rapid Monte Carlo will get an all-black treatment with contrast upholstery and stitching. According to reports, Skoda dealerships have already started taking bookings for the Skoda Kodiaq SUV and it is going to be launched in India soon.
Based on the Skoda Vision S Concept, this will be first 7-seater SUV by the company. The 2-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine will produce 177 bhp and peak torque of 320 Nm. Now although this high-performance sedan is available globally in both petrol and diesel forms, the vRS for India will come in the full-fat 230bhp petrol avatar.
