Billed as the 320d Edition Sport, the newcomer flaunts a couple of cosmetic updates over the regular 320d variants and gets a "sporty" theme inside the cabin. The new BMW 320d Edition Sport for India is priced at Rs 38,60,000 ex-showroom (India). Manufacturers expect that this new vehicle introduction will increase the sporty persona of the 3 Series.
BMW India has expanded its 3 Series lineup by adding another diesel variant.
The powertrain in the Edition Sport isn't going to set your pulse racing, though, since it's the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine that does duty in other variants of the 320d. It produces 190hp and 400Nm of peak torque and is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. The BMW 320d Edition Sport luxury sedan needs only 7.2 seconds to reach 100kmph from engine start and has an electronically restricted top speed of 250km per hour. BMW claims that the new model returns an impressive fuel efficiency figure of 22.69kmpl.More news: Chris Sale 'mapped out' to pitch in all three remaining Yankees series
