Natalie Maines Files for Divorce From Husband Adrian Pasdar

We wish the very best to Natalie Maines and Adrian Pasdar during this time, especially since there are kids involved in the matter. She joined the Dixie Chicks in 1995 at the beginning of their meteoric rise in country music.

According to TMZ, who was first to report the split, the Grammy-winning musician cited irreconcilable differences in her divorce petition.

The Lubbock, Texas native initially tied the knot with the actor June 24, 2000 at Las Vegas's A Little White Wedding Chapel after Natalie performed in Sin City with her Dixie Chicks bandmates, Martie Maguire and Emily Strayer. It was Maines' second marriage.

The Texas native has largely remained out of the spotlight over the past few years, and released "Mother", her debut solo album, in 2013.

Moving forward: Maines asked for joint custody of their two sons, Jackson Slade, 16, and Beckett Finn, 13. Unfortunately for fans, no tour dates are listed on the group's website, but they have been posting some cryptic photos to Instagram, causing fans to believe a movie or concert film is on the horizon. Maines infamously told a London crowd at the beginning of the Iraq War that she was ashamed to be from the same state as the commander-in-chief.
