In yet another major robbery, terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir barged into a bank and looted cash on Monday. Police claimed the three were involved in several attacks on security personnel and bank robberies in South Kashmir.
Witnesses said that burqa clad armed men looted the bank on the gunpoint.
Sources said the militants were dressed in burkhas (veil), took them off once inside the bank, brandished their weapons and fled with the money. Such incidents had risen post the decision on demonetisation due to which terror groups faced a cash crunch. Efforts are on to nab the culprits, police said.
