Vincent Kompany has suggested that Romelu Lukaku could prove to be the signing which turns Manchester United into bona fide Premier League title challengers.

In recent weeks, prosecutors have opened tax fraud investigations into several others, including Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo and former Madrid coach Jose Mourinho.

And according to M.E.N's Samuel Luckhurst, the Portuguese has pin-pointed the 27-year-old as a potential option if Luke Shaw fails to impress next year. He regularly hailed United fans as the best he has ever had, revealed he had "fallen in love" with the club and spoke of his desire to stay for as long as possible.

Jose Mourinho says he is not quite happy about how Manchester United have gone about their transfer business this summer. It was a good move for Everton because the player himself clearly wants to test himself at the next level up which is the Champions League. If he wasn't poking rival managers in the eye, his sexist antics were costing quality staff their jobs.

Well, for starters, Mourinho remains a polarised appointment amongst the fans.

"I am ready for the next 15 (years), I would say".

The 23-year-old is very versatile being able to operate in defence as well as in midfield and impressed for Mauricio Pochettino's side last season, helping the club finish in second position on the Premier League standings.

The weekend United went into the EFL Cup final against Southampton in February, United were just two points behind third-place Tottenham Hotspur. Nobody is going to be in the same club for so many years, be in the same league for so many years.

"I want him to do well - except for in a few games this season!"

"The market ends on Aug 31, so there is plenty of time".

The City captain knows all about his qualities and has backed Lukaku to have another great season, which should end with them teaming up at the 2018 World Cup in Russian Federation.
