That doesn't mean ArcSys is finished with BlazBlue: Central Fiction just yet. A new character and a new game.

In case you missed it, this wasn't the only big news that Arc System Works had at EVO 2017, as they also announced BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle.

There have been rumors that a RWBY fighting game will be announced at EVO 2017, generating excitement as fans of the series have always been clamoring for a fighting game after the Dynasty Warriors-like RWBY: Grimm Eclipse. RWBY is an American anime produced by Rooster Teeth.

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is now targeting a 2018 launch date. It shows off one character from each of the four series, and a brief look at the game's 2v2 tag system.

The upcoming crossover will be a "dream-team of characters that have never before been gathered in a single 2D fighting game".

Central Fiction was released past year on PlayStation 4, and completed BlazBlue's sprawling narrative.

Not much else is known about the fighting game yet, but it is already being hyped up by BlazBlue fans and fighting game enthusiasts.

It was announced that Jubei would be joining the roster for BlazBlue CentralFiction.
