It will also work with Apple services such as Messages and its smart home appliance platform, HomeKit.

The Watch will also have two-way, real time data exchange with gym equipment.

It remains to be seen how (or if) third-party developers like government agencies will be able to integrate service delivery into this new experience - but it does provide another example of the growing trend toward predictive information delivery. There's also a new one-handed mode on iPhone. Apple's new 27-inch iMac and iMac Pro will support VR right out of the box.

The iMac Pro was to begin shipping in December with a starting price of $4,999.

As for the iPad lineup, all of their screens will have brightness increased by 50%, and the smaller version of the new iPad Pro is.8 inches larger than its predecessor and 30-40% faster.

Apple's annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) is here, and today's keynote saw a number of VR-specific announcements including Apple's first VR-ready computers to go along with the launch of the company's newest macOS High Sierra. Siri, Apple's virtual assistant, will respond to voice commands. The new version of Siri can translate from English to other languages such as Spanish, Chinese, French, German and Italian. With iOS 11, Apple introduces a new technology called High Efficiency Image File Format (HEIF) that reduces the file size of every photo taken with iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Transferred money will go into a new Apple "Cash Card".

IOS 11 will also feature an update of Apple Music, which will include sharing options, so you can see what your friends are listening to.

The workout app is also getting an update, with features that give users more automatic measurements and track multiple workouts in a single session. Apple said the upgrades make the Mac a great platform for developing virtual reality experiences. Both sizes will now start with 64GB.

The new iOS for iPads will include new features including a Launch Dock to make it easier to move between apps, drag and drop features, and the new Files app, a new iOS 11 app created to make it easier to organize the files on your devices.

Analysts said Apple is playing to its strength in the music industry by focusing on sound quality and its catalog of songs available on HomePod. The device, which is powered by Siri, is less than seven inches tall, and looks, as most of the internet will tell you, like a ball of yarn.

The most anticipated product to be announced was the new Siri-enabled speaker, dubbed the HomePod - Apple's answer to voice assistants like the Amazon Echo and Google Home.

The speaker has the "power to rock the house", according to Schiller, and the aim is to make HomePod a potent assistant for news, messages, weather, traffic, home controls and more. This marks the start of a transition where in a few years, 32-bit Mac apps will no longer be supported and won't run.
