WONDER WOMAN Sequel Is Already Being Planned By Director

We live in an age where everyone involved in one of these giant superhero movies franchises is basically made to commit as much of their lives as humanly possible to it. Sequels are, if not outright expected, certainly hoped for by studios. Don't worry, I'm not going to don my critic hat and start diving into the ins and outs of the film. She debuted as the superhero in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, leaving fans excited to see more. Now, Gal has added another feather to her hat by revealing that she was actually five months pregnant while shooting a major portion of the film.

Wonder Woman opened with $103 million.

Without diving too deep into the history of film, it's no secret that female directors have had to fight tooth and nail for every project they could get their hands on.

"Globally this property has just resonated with fans", Warner Bros distribution chief Jeff Goldstein said of Wonder Woman.

The film is about the origins of Wonder Woman who was called "Diana, princess of the Amazons" and was trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Pictures, actress Gal Gadot and actress Lynda Carter attend the premiere of Warner Bros. As someone who has watched this movie more than anything else since its release, I can safely say that the joy of it never wears off. Thankfully, you don't have to take my word for it.

"Regarding the director's work ethic and passion, Wonder Woman's cinematographer Matt Jensen recently said that "[Patty] is just so energetic and enthusiastic, and often is working out scenes by herself". "The movie's gotta come out, and then we'll see". Thankfully, audiences did not disappoint in that regard, either.

But Jenkins's success with Wonder Woman - critically and commercially - makes her locking her down for the sequel a surer bet than Ayer or even Snyder.

"I love what that is meaning for women", Jenkins told anchor Chris Cuomo on "New Day." on Wednesday "I'm so excited to inspire all sorts of people the way all sorts of heroes have inspired".
