R&B singer Brandy hospitalized after apparently losing consciousness on flight


The singer had just boarded a flight from LAX to JFK when she passed out.

Singer-songwriter Brandy Norwood has reportedly been rushed to the hospital. News that officers responded to a medical incident at LAX around 6 a.m. and that an ambulance transported a person to a local hospital.

The report claims that it she lost consciousness right after the plane pulled away from the gate, and immediately flight attendants and passengers rushed to help her. "Flight 763 departed for NY roughly 45 minutes behind schedule".

According to TMZ, Brandy was removed from a plane after an airline employee contacted paramedics and the L.A. Fire Department. Thankfully, the 38-year-old regained full consciousness while being treated on the jetway and afterward was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
