For the second time in Game 4 of the Stanley Game Final, a Nashville Predators goal was awarded after a video review. Then Gaudreau, who scored his first career National Hockey League goal in Game 1, scored 42 seconds later to put Nashville ahead with his wrister from the high slot, taking advantage of a screen by Penguins defenseman Ian Cole to beat Murray glove-side. It was the first playoff goal for Arvidsson since Game 4 of the first round, and it put Nashville up 3-1.

Filip Forsberg iced the game late in the third with an empty net goal, his ninth of the playoffs as the Preds evened the series with Pittsburgh 2-2.

Nashville will be leaning again on its defense corps to try to send this series back to Pittsburgh all tied up. The Penguins had several other good chances among their 24 shots on goal but Rinne was strong.

The defending Stanley Cup champion Penguins were outshot for the fourth straight game.

They've taken care of that in the first period of Game 4.

"Like our team has done the whole playoffs against Chicago, St. Louis, Anaheim, we showed really good composure", said Nashville defenseman P.K. Subban, who had predicted a win in Game 3.

The goal was Crosby's first goal in the Final since June 4, 2009, a span of 12 goalless games for the Pittsburgh captain. This all changed in Game 3 when he notched his first win, only letting in 1 goal on 28 shots, ending with a.964 save percentage. Penguins C Sidney Crosby now has 17 career points in Cup Final games, two behind franchise leader Mario Lemieux. Victor Arvidsson's breakaway goal at 13:08 gave Nashville a two-goal cushion and that was that.

Pittsburgh responded 66 seconds later when Sidney Crosby scored his first goal of the series, breaking in alone and using a nifty deke to beat Rinne.

"It is fitting and proper that this outstanding young man's contributions - both on and off the ice, having raised money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation during his off-season past year - deserve the full recognition of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County", Barry wrote in a statement.

Pittsburgh coach Mike Sullivan said he thought his Penguins gave up a couple of easy goals.

As for Rinne, Neal added: "We felt we left him out to dry a few times in the last game".

Subban relishes playing against the man he calls the world's best player in Crosby, and he also has plenty of help from fellow defensemen Roman Josi, Ryan Ellis and Mattias Ekholm. With an assist, Crosby now has 160 career playoff points (56 goals, 104 assists) and tied Mike Bossy, Gordie Howe, Bobby Smith and Al MacInnis for 20th all-time.

His absence left the Penguins without a veteran penalty killer.

"It's our defense that's going to win us games", Subban said.

Charles Barkley has taken advantage of a day off in the NBA Finals and accepted NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman's invitation to come watch the Stanley Cup Final in person.

"It's a game of execution", Crosby said.

"You've got trust what gets you here", Crosby said.

Until Game One of the Stanley Cup final, Gaudreau's National Hockey League career consisted of nine regular-season games this year, plus the last two games of the Western Conference final against Anaheim.
