Microsoft brings Face Swap app for Android smartphones

The free app does very much what you would expect - combining the joy of selfies with the fun of face swapping.

Microsoft has launched its new Face Swap app for the Android.

Explaining how the whole idea of face swapping app materialised into an app, the team wrote, "Face Swap was developed from conception to app store over 5 months by the small incubation team within the Bing organisation". Nevertheless, it's still a fun app that will surely keep you entertained for quite some time. Face Swap can even process and place multiple faces in a single scene, and automatically find faces in images and place the user's swap. The latest app from Microsoft Garage team is Face Swap, and it doesn't just let you just swap faces as the name mentions.

Microsoft claims that the app features a sophisticated face swap engine, which should make the end result look more natural. You have multiple choices to select your image with whom you want to swap. You can see the app in action in the video below.

The new Face Swap app is now available to download via Google Play. This app is available only in selected markets like US, Australia, and Canada. Hopefully, its availability will expand to a larger audience in the coming weeks. Let us know what you think of it if you do decide to try it out.
