Who says you can have too much G6?
At the start of this month, South Korean media had revealed that two new variants of LG G6 dubbed as LG G6 Plus and LG G6 Pro would be launching at the end of this month in the home market. The LG G6 is the company's flagship for the year 2017 and they compete directly with likes of Samsung Galaxy S8. etc. Well, if you are wondering if this is a plus variant, then no, the physical size of the smartphone remains the same but we do have some internal developments. LG is selling different variants of the LG G6 in varied markets. The G6 India model, in addition, also includes a Hi-Fi quad-DAC for enhanced audio.
For current G6 owners, LG has also announced a software update with features including facial unlocking, a low power consumption mode, and a warning if you inadvertently cover the camera lens with a finger - apparently something that can be an issue with the G6's wide-angle lens.
Speaking of the battery, the LG G6 Plus features wireless charging, which has only been available in G6 models sold in North America so far.More news: Hostage-taker in Australia acquitted of 'terror' plot
