The Paris Agreement aims to limit average global warming to 2 degrees Celsius by cutting greenhouse gases from burning fossil fuels. This was made in hopes of preventing any more major increases in global temperatures which could cause sea levels to rise, spark major droughts and lead to more risky storms.
