Durant makes his mark in Game 1 for Warriors

During the fourth quarter, Steph Curry passed the ball to Durant, who hit a glorious three-pointer while positioned just in front of the singer.

"Yeah, I won't get into that", Durant said, laughing.

Curry is referring to his new Curry 4 shoes by Under Armour, which he debuted in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

Durant scored 38 points on 14-of-26 shooting, grabbed eight rebounds and passed off eight assists while Stephen Curry added 28 points, sinking six-of-11 three-pointers as Golden State dominated Cleveland in nearly every area of the game.

"The best thing was just our defensive presence and effort for 48 minutes". "No matter how many days that you have to prepare, you can't simulate what they have".

All in all, after a 22-point win in Game 1 and a 1-0 series lead in the NBA Finals, the Warriors should feel very good about themselves moving into the remainder of the series.

James sets the tone defensively, and if the Cavs' leader is getting cooked by the opposing team's two best players, how are the role players supposed to do their jobs confidently?

National Basketball Association fans have long wondered if Klay Thompson will eventually be the odd man out now that the Golden State Warriors have added Kevin Durant to the fold, and one of Thompson's fellow players believes that is bound to happen.

"Overall it was a complete team effort", Green said. "We made a lot of mistakes. We didn't play as well as we know we're capable of, so we look forward to the next one".
