Tottenham's Pochettino 'not going anywhere'

"I'm sure he's not going anywhere".

Speaking to reporters in Hong Kong, where Tottenham will play a friendly on Friday, Levy said: "Is he going somewhere?"

Premier League rivals Manchester City and Chelsea, as well as Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich, have all been touted as possible summer destinations for Walker, and Walker's own decision to post such a statement on one of his official social media accounts certainly lends weight to him leaving his current employers.

Pochettino firmly denied the existence of such a buyout clause and confirmed he would stay with Tottenham, stating he had "no reason to leave the club".

From there the focus will be on recruitment, with Tottenham supporters hoping their club does not leave it so late to secure their targets this time round. I will be here for pre-season on July 3.

Levy announced in Hong Kong that AIA would now be known as the club's "global principal partner" and that the AIA logo would be emblazoned across Tottenham's shirts in all their matches until the end of the 2021-22 season.

No figures were released for the deal, but sources told ESPN FC it was worth significantly more than the previous deal with the firm, signed in 2014 and worth £16m per season. The Standard is reporting today that Tottenham Hotspur have extended their shirt sponsorship deal with Hong Kong based insurance group AIA for another five years through the 2022 season.

Spurs remain in talks with various companies about selling the naming rights for their new 61,000-seater stadium, which will cost around £800m.
