No fatalities were reported in other states, but there have been reports in the eastern Texas Panhandle and western Oklahoma of utility poles and downed power lines.
There were reports of giant hail falling near Bucklin, Kansas, Tuesday. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene, and to a golf course where a gas leak was reported. The high winds during a tornado can rip a mobile home, which frequently would not have a foundation, from its moorings.
The tornado damaged the Prairie Lakes Estates trailer park north of Chetek.
Over 25 people were injured, 17 of them were rushed to the hospital and as of Wednesday evening 1 person is in critical condition.
"Large hail, tornadoes and wind damage also will be possible outside of these areas across parts of the southern and central Plains".
The governors of Wisconsin and Oklahoma plan to survey the most damaged areas of their states later Wednesday.
Residents of the Prairie Lake trailer park have been picking through the rubble looking for anything salvageable.

Emergency management officials in Grant County reported a gust that hit 68 miles per hour in Cuba City, and wind felled tree branches in the Hazel Green area and debris was blowing across the highway in Ellenboro. He said that at least one person died as a result of the tornado, adding that those engaged in rescue and recovery operations were "still in a search pattern".

"Our rapid response assessors are in Elk City and nearby storm-affected areas, and we are going to continue to follow the storms", Sam Porter, director of Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief, told KOCO-TV.

Ringer told KOCO-TV another 50 to 75 homes sustained heavy damage.
Personal belongings were strewn across the ground, siding and roofs tossed off homes, people's lives changed in a matter of moments on Tuesday night, but those material things can be replaced. He estimates the park had around 50 homes.
The Red Cross and Salvation Army are assisting people who lost their homes in the storm.
The storm crushed most of the supervision on the southern border of Elk City, Oklahoma; Elk City is located 110 miles west of Oklahoma City.
"It's heart wrenching because you know everyone here and it's just a small community that's out in the country." said Seever.
