Pyre is a fantastical game about a caravan of exiles seeking a return to their home by performing a series of competitive rituals pitting them against fellow nomads. Each Rite plays out like an intense close-quarters mystical battle, where the object is to extinguish your adversary's signal flame before they can do the same to you.
The main attraction of the game are the Rites, which are three-on-three competitions against other exiles. It's a game that's been shown off at multiple conventions with a lot of positive feedback surrounding the game.
You'll meet a large cast of different playable characters, such as these fine folk.
Kasavin also announced a slew of new features and details for the game including a new friend versus mode, complex 3-on-3 battle system, and a branching story with no-game over - truly making the game accessible to all players. "So, one of the unique aspects of Pyre is how you are never forced to lose progress". Find out during the course of the single-player campaign (and maybe rack up a new Platinum Trophy while you're at it).More news: Australian girl on vacation killed in Baghdad car bomb blast

Honestly I'm pretty sold on this game even without the extra information. Which is a steal. By pre-ordering from the PlayStation Store in North America, you'll save 10% off the regular $19.99 United States dollars price tag.
Supergiant's Pyre has finally nailed down a release date. Check out 20 minutes of gameplay below.
The studio's most well-known game, Bastion, can probably be attributed for pulling indie games into the limelight.
What about you? Are you going to be getting Pyre when it comes out?
