Old tweets about classified info from GOP and Trump resurfaces

Since the presidential election, Trump and his associates have come under public scrutiny for their praise and seemingly warm relationship to the Kremlin.

Charles Krauthammer reacted to a Washington Post report that President Trump revealed classified information during a meeting with Russian envoys in the Oval Office.

A USA official with knowledge of the meeting told the Post that the president "revealed more information to the Russian ambassador than we have shared with our own allies".

"You may remember, candidate Trump repeatedly bashed Hillary Clinton during the campaign while accusing her of leaking classified information".

After a report surfaced Monday that President Trump leaked highly classified information to Russian diplomats, some of his previous tweets, as well as those of his Republican supporters aren't holding up so well.

The Democratic National Committee said in a statement that Russian Federation "no longer has to spy on us to get information" because Trump will tell them whenever they ask. After giving a recap of the latest developments, such as Israel being the source of the info and National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster stating that Trump's sharing of information was "wholly appropriate," Smith then pointed out Trump's previous tweets slamming Clinton.

There has been a legal debate on whether Mr Trump was allowed to declassify the information he leaked in order to share it with Russian officials, but Ms Navarro mocked the "enablers" for using that as an excuse for Mr Trump being "clueless" or "incompetent".

The President of the United States does have legal authority to leak classified information, however it's odd as to why Trump and his staff would contradict themselves as to what was leaked. This morning, the president said he had full authority to leak the intel.

"I have been asking Director Comey & others, from the beginning of my administration, to find the LEAKERS in the intelligence community...."

"Snowden has given serious information to China and Russia-anyone who thinks otherwise is a dope!"
