Monster Hunter XX coming to Nintendo Switch, first gameplay footage released

The only problem that Nintendo could face is a supply shortage of the components that are used in the Switch such as the console's LCD screen, according to the Financial Times.

The good news for Nintendo 3DS players of "Monster Hunter XX" is very advantageous for them.

"The bright spot within software was that we sold more than one copy of the Switch version of Zelda for every Switch console we sold, indicating that consumers are coming to GameStop for additional games and accessories". The console, which first launched in March, has already almost sold out. Given that rumours regarding Pokemon Stars have been popping up for past months it seems that it might be in development for 3DS instead of Nintendo Switch. There is a limitation, which is to be strictly limited to online sessions only. However, it would make sense for Nintendo to develop a brand new Pokemon title for Nintendo Switch that would take full advantage of the console's hardware.

Capcom has released the first gameplay footage of the Nintendo Switch version of Monster Hunter XX. Savegames from Monster Hunter Generations, or Monster Hunter X as it was titled in Japan, will also be transferable. This contains a special Monster Hunter painted dock, the Switch and Monster Hunter XX.

At Monster Hunter Championship 2017, Capcom announced the Switch version will release on August 25 in Japan, Gematsu reports.
