The actress appeared opposite Sean Connery in 1965 film Thunderball, where she played a nurse called Patricia Fearing, who had a romance with the 007 spy.

She was born in 1942 in the Suffolk village of Walsham-le-Willows and started her career as a model in men's magazines - including Playboy and Parade.

British actress Molly Peters, known to many for her role girls of James bond, died at 76 years.

Scenes from Thunderball were considered too naughty for the big screen, causing the film to nearly be given an X-rated rating for nudity; certain scenes from the film even had to be cut as requested by the British Board of Film Classification as they were deemed too racy.

Peters' film career wasn't as lengthy as she would have liked, therefore there isn't much on her.

In memory of him, he franchise's official account shared a touching video tribute to the late actor and tweeted: 'Bond, James Bond.

She then went on to star in one other movie, 1968 comedy "Don't Raise the Bridge, Lower the River", and made a handful of TV appearances.

Despite working in a Bond film, Peters' career didn't take off apparently due to a contractual disagreement with her agent. She was married and lived in Ispwich.

Peters' death comes just days after Roger Moore's death on May 23.
