RAIL users needing to get to and from Manchester after the attack should expect delays, as the Manchester Victoria station remains closed for forensics and alternative routes are set.

Trains affected include Leeds - Manchester Victoria.

Victoria station was closed following the incident, in addition to the arena itself and the surrounding area.

Manchester Victoria Trains will start and terminate at Rochdale.

A spokesperson for National Rail said: "Emergency services are dealing with last nights tragic events that occurred at Manchester Arena".

Meanwhile train and Metrolink services in and out of the station are suspended.

A replacement bus service from Monsall and Queens Road stops to Piccadilly is helping passengers reach the city centre.

On Monday night, a blast occurred outside the Manchester Arena at the end of the concert of Ariana Grande, leaving at least 22 people dead and nearly 60 injured.
