According to the reports, this Android Go will run on devices with 512MB or 1GB RAM and will have specialized apps that will use fewer resources like YouTubeGo. You will be prompted to enter your Apple ID password, or your fingerprint through Touch ID, if you've enabled that feature for the App Store.

Google Home only supports outgoing calls for now and calls to the speaker itself are still not possible. People will copy proper names (like a restaurant or a person) and paste it into Google Search. The new Shared Library feature also lets you automatically share images with people, like a spouse, significant other, or best friend. See a phone number on a picture or a screen shot? Siri has come as a built-in service on iPhones since 2011; Google's assistant will require an app download. There will be a new button in the Assistant app that will allow users to launch the Google Lens. Regardless, Android O does put sharper limits on which apps can register for implicit broadcasts. It represents the company's foray into the IoT market for which there are much bigger plans. The Android operating system software is on more than 2 billion devices.
Finally, Android O will put limits on how often a device is allowed to check your location when running in the background.
Android O will also limit wakelocks (a power management feature that makes sure a device doesn't go into deep sleep because an app needs to utilize system resources) on background apps in the cache.
In his comments, Android's VP of engineering, Dave Burke, said: "We've put additional automatic limits on what apps can do in the background, in three main areas: implicit broadcasts, background services, and location updates".
