Police are investigating the drowning deaths of a 31-year-old man and his 3-year-old son, who were found Tuesday in the swimming pool at an apartment complex in Novi.
The Novi Police Department says they were found Tuesday afternoon at Glens of Northville, the apartment complex where they lived, and were pronounced dead at a hospital. Employees pulled the man and his son from the apartment complex's community pool and started CPR.
The two were pulled from the pool, located behind a home in the 20900 block of Woodland Glen Drive, and taken to St. John Providence Hospital after emergency responders attempted lifesaving procedures. They were first discovered by residents walking into the clubhouse who then alerted staff to the possible drowning.More news: As US weighs climate pullout, UN wants world to be more ambitious
