Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Addresses Presidential Rumor with Jimmy Fallon

Considering he always seems to be working on a million different gigs at once, The Rock's never-ending press tour rages on.

"In it, as we were talking about it she goes "Would you ever consider running for President" and I said 'Yeah, of course I would consider it.'" Johnson explained.

Many are hoping "The People's Champion" will run for president in 2020.

Johnson, a registered independent, related how he was "blown away" and flattered by the support.

A lot of people want to see a different leadership today - I'm sorry, not different, but better leadership today, right? "When it comes to politics", Johnson said, "we need less noise and more poise". "But now I'm actually anxious that I'm too qualified", he said.

"And I think you have to question why", he said.

As the studio audience applauded Johnson, he added: 'Three and a half years is a long ways away.

Johnson continued, "In the past, I never would've considered running for president". It's like a presidential ticket designed in a lab to make the most people possible say "What could possibly go wrong?". Johnson then expressed confidence he would "get the minority vote" because "everyone just kind of assumes I'm, well, whatever they are". If I let anyone down, it hurt my feelings that they didn't like it.

The former WWE wrestler told GQ Magazine he was thinking about challenging incumbent President Donald Trump for the White House earlier this month - and a poll last week revealed Johnson might beat him. Who knows what Johnson's specific stance on any real policy is, but that doesn't matter!

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is ready to run the country. "Americans deserve strong, capable leaders". I guess we've gotta do this, come on.
