City eye top four boost to mark Zabaleta farewell

Manchester City are expected to be one of the most active sides in the transfer market this summer, with Guardiola set to shake up his squad after a disappointing first season in England for the former Barcelona boss.

"It's one of those debates that as players we'd love to get involved in but we're not allowed to so that's what makes it very frustrating as they aren't willing to listen".

Manchester City have confirmed that 32-year old Argentinian right-back Pablo Zabaleta will leave the club at the end of the season, after nine years at the club. "We play for a lot of things, (it is) a real final for us and we are going to be ready for this game". The question is not to try to change the personality of the players.

It's widely considered to be the most iconic moment since the English top flight was rebranded in 1992 and Silva, who was a key player as City won their first title in 44 years, says it was an "unforgettable" occasion.

"There are clubs who have already qualified for next season's Champions League, but for Yaya, Manchester City is a very special club". I remember at that time (then-United manager Alex) Ferguson and the 'noisy neighbors, ' and this is something that I have been since that time!

"He wants to play in the Champions League next season but he would also play for an ambitious club who have big plans - a club who have a project".

"We had to work really hard to become a better club and look at where we are today".

Willy Caballero, Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna and Jesus Navas are expected to be part of the summer clear out by Guardiola, but time will tell if they all go and whether or not Toure will be joining them. For that you need time and it is not easy.

Punters hoping to use a free bet might fancy City to make a strong finish to their campaign and they are next in action against West Brom on Tuesday and conclude their Premier League season against Watford on Sunday.

"It's important to have players like Pablo in the team", Guardiola said.
