The show hosts brought up Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens moving to Smackdown, and whether or not Styles feels any pressure of "carrying" Smackdown on his back along with Owens. The another match of the event is going to be of Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt, while the leader of "Wyatt's family" in the WWE is going to have a fight with a legendary fighter of WWE since a very long time and this is another fight to be mentioned in the event as highlighted. He thought it was odd that Randy Orton didn't appear on the show, but he points out that WWE talents get occasional days off now, and for the talent's sake, Taz is happy about that. Mahal responded saying that he will earn it at Backlash 2017. Although, I assume this is just a holdover until The New Day arrives to serve the Usos with a great big bowl of Booty Os.
Another listener calls into the show and asks Taz what he thinks about the red leather on the Universal Championship.
Wrestling Inc. is reporting that Shane McMahon was on "Talking Smack" after last night's SmackDown and said Jericho was taken to a local emergency room. Would a feud with Nakamura be on tap, as Jericho would once again be asked to put the global superstar over?

But, but: As had felt clear throughout much of the pre-Payback build, A.J. Styles remains an interloper in this story, which really probably did need to end with one final showdown between Jericho and Owens.
Owens walks off without another word and Renee reminds us about the US Title match at Backlash on May 21st.
If not an immediate rematch for Chris Jericho's United States title, Owens and Styles could go at it until Y2J wraps up his "Judas Rising Tour".
Who knows when Jericho will be back, but what he just did, for the past 16 months, was remarkable. His past few runs had been for a mere two or three months, so this latest one far exceeded anything the Ayatollah of Rock "n" Rollah has done recently.
On top of that, Owens put a chair over Jericho's neck and threw him into the post. This got Styles banned from ringside in the main event.
