Boko Haram bombers attack University of Maiduguri again

The terrorists have attack Maiduguri at least four times this week.

WorldStage Newsonline- Three male suicide-bombers were said to have been killed while attempting to attack a female hostel in University of Maiduguri on Thursday night.

Another student, Yusuf Ibrahim also told Punch that a soldier was killed when the second bomb was detonated at the female hostel.

"In an attempt to enter the female hostels, they were intercepted by security operatives".

"It was so loud and we were confused in our hostel".

PRNigeria reports that one of the three suicide-bombers carried an AK 47 gun.

Abu Babati who is the president of the student union government of the university confirmed the attack.

He said one of the bombers was accosted by a soldier stationed around the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and was shot at after detonating his bomb.

"The other two bombers detonated their near a construction site also within the proximity of the University premises, killing themselves alone".

The latest attack comes just five days after a security personnel was killed when suicide bomber detonated his vest in the school.

Isuku said the scene of the attacks have been visited by EOD personnel and that normalcy has been restored.
