Announced nearly a year ago, Volition's Agents of Mayhem shares "certain story elements, symbolism, and design inspiration" from the developer's typically off-the-wall Saints Row series while taking place in the same overarching universe.
The crazies over at Volition have released a brand new trailer for Agents of Mayhem, and today we get a great new look at all of trouble you can cause with vehicles. You might get that 80s TV show vibe from the talking auto and the Knight Rider music, but this game's set in a future with the world devastated by bad guys, and only you, the slightly less bad guys, can stop them. In Agents of Mayhem, you run a no-holds barred operation against the shadowy super-villain organization, LEGION, fighting to take back the world after the horrors of Devil's Night.

Set to launch for PS4, Xbox One and PC on August 18, the spiritual successor to Saints Row is shaping up to be a lot of fun. Agents of Mayhem may assume that throne.
